KEYCODE 1.0
HOT-KEY PROGRAMMER
for QSWITCH 1.41
KEYCODE.EXE creates a small text file QSWITCH.INI which will
tell QSWITCH what Key combination to be triggered by.
QSWITCH.EXE QSWITCH.INI and KEYCODE should be placed in a search
path directory so they can find each other.
To reprogram the QSWITCH Hot-Key, run KEYCODE.
KEYCODE will prompt you to type the Key combination you want to
use. For example for the default <Ctrl>+<Left-Shift>+<Q>, hold down the
<Ctrl> and <Left-Shift> keys and tap the <Q>. The bottom line will
change to the newly selected combination. You may try other
combinations until you have the one you want on the screen.
Once you have the correct combination, type <Ctrl>+<Alt>+<C> to
save the new combination to QSWITCH.INI. You may now run
QSWITCH.EXE to load the new combination. If QSWITCH is already
loaded you must unload it using [QSWITCH -] to remove it from
memory. QSWITCH only reads the QSWITCH.INI file when is is first
loaded.
Valid Key combinations are any combination of one or more of
<Ctrl>, <Alt>, <Left-Shift>, or <Right-Shift> keys held down
together followed by tapping a letter, number, punctuation or
function key.
